The Quinapoxet
Model Flying Club (QMFC) supports two fields.
The Lancaster field is open for general flying. It is
situated on Rt 110 in Lancaster MA.
from I-495 take exit # 27 (Rt117) West towards Bolton. Continue on Rt117 for approximately 3 miles to
its intersection with Rt 110. (Traffic lights and
"Bolton Orchards" is on the left). Take a
left on to Rt110 West. At 1.1 miles from the lights turn right onto a dirt
road. Just park your car in the parking area to the left of the dirt road.
The Holden field is new and is open for general
flying. It is situated at the old landfill at 350 River Street. Fron
I-190, take exit #5 onto rt 140 south/ When you get
to the intersection with Thomas rd (Rt 140 goes
left over a bridge) take Thomas road (bear right) Shortly after this intesection you will go over a bridge (over water). After
crossing the bridge immediately turn right onto River Road. Follow River
road (rough surface) until it goes under an expressway (I-190) when it turns
into River Street.
The field is approximately 1/2 after the expressway on the right.
The Holden field must be
maintained locked at all times
