to our field
The Quinapoxet
Model Flying Club (QMFC) supports two fields.
The Lancaster field is open for general flying. It is
situated on Rt 110 in Lancaster MA.
from I-495 take exit # 27 (Rt117) West towards Bolton. Continue on Rt117 for approximately 3 miles to
its intersection with Rt 110. (Traffic lights and
"Bolton Orchards" is on the left). Take a
left on to Rt110 West. At 1.1 miles from the lights turn right onto a dirt
road. Just park your car in the parking area to the left of the dirt road.
The Holden field is open for general
flying. It is situated at the old landfill at 220 River Street (As defined by Google Maps) . From
I-190, take exit #4 onto rt 12 north. after about 1/2 mile on rt 12, turn left on to Woodland Street. Follow Woodland Street for about 1 1/2 mile and turn right on to Bullard Street. After about 2 miles you will come to a 4 way Stop sign. Go straight over. Then in about 1/4 mile turn sharp right on to Harris Street (Harris Street turns in to River Street). After about 1 mile the QMFC field is on the left. If you GPS to the field, your GPS may try to take you via River Road in West Boylston. This street is closed to through traffic. You must access River Street, Holden from its south end.
