About Our Club

The Quinapoxet Model Flying Club has two flying fields. One is off Rt. 110 in Lancaster, MA. The club is located on State Property, that is part of an area know as the Bolton Flats. The other field is in Holden, MA and located on the old landfill site at 350, River Street. For directions please click here. As a club we seek to promote the R/C hobby through the teaching, building and flying of R/C aircraft. We also promoter safety in our hobby by adhering to both AMA and club rules. The club is operated in accordance to the Club Bylaws

 

 

 

Meetings

Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month (Except July and August) at 242 Bolton Road, Lancaster, MA . All members and guests are welcome.. The meetings begin at 7:30pm, but members begin arriving anytime after 7:00pm for a chance to talk shop. Each meeting covers new and old business, club finances, any upcoming events and a show 'n tell period. Club members are encouraged to attend meetings to provide member feedback and participate in decisions regarding club activities. Non-members are also welcome to attend club meetings, to find out more about the Quinapoxet Model Flying Club. Membership

Membership in the Quinapoxet Model Flying Club is open to anyone who is interested the the radio controlled aircraft hobby. Beginners are welcome and QMFC has a number of instructors willing to train an aspiring R/C flyer. QMFC also has a number of experienced builders who can help out a first-time builder. Anyone interested in joining QMFC (Membership Application)must also be a member of the AMA.

 

 

 

Membership Fees

One-Time Member Initiation Fee: $50.00 (Not Junior membership)

Full Adult Membership (17+): $25.00/year

Junior Membership (16 and under): $6.00/year
